I attended a workshop led by Joy Schaverien approximately 7 years ago, which alerted me to the incredible work that both she and Nick Duffell have been doing to support ex- boarders and make the public aware of some of the negative impacts Boarding School may have on children and how this can show up in adults. I am an ex-boarder myself and through my own therapy and working alongside Nick Duffell, I have been able to fully understand how my own childhood experiences have shaped and impacted me and changed some of those behavioural patterns that began at an early age.

I live and work in Brighton and Hove, attend regular supervision, and have professional liability insurance. I am registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and work within their ethical framework for good practice. I have experience in both private practice and in various different settings.
