Terms and Conditions

The Starlings Community is an ongoing reflective and peer support space for former participants and clients who wish to remain connected to the work and to one another.


1. Nature of the Community

Starlings is a facilitated community offering connection, reflection, psychoeducation and peer support.

It is not psychotherapy, counselling, crisis intervention or emergency mental health support.

2. Confidentiality

Participants agree to:

• Keep all personal information shared within the community confidential.
  • Share only their own reflections and experiences outside of the community.
  • Respect the privacy of all members.
  • Not take screenshots, recordings or copies of posts or discussions.
  • Not share access to community platforms with others.

Confidentiality within a group setting cannot be absolutely guaranteed.


3. Community Agreements

Members agree to:

• Be respectful and kind.
  • Listen with curiosity rather than judgement.
  • Avoid giving unsolicited advice.
  • Respect differing opinions and experiences.
  • Take responsibility for their own wellbeing and boundaries.
  • Recognise that participation levels will vary and there is no obligation to contribute.

4. WhatsApp and Community Spaces

The community spaces are intended to support connection and reflection.

Members understand that:

• Responses from Amelia White or community facilitators cannot be guaranteed.
  • The WhatsApp group is not monitored continuously.
  • The community should not be used as a crisis support service.
  • Posts should be respectful and mindful of the wellbeing of other members.

5. Live Sessions

Live sessions are intended as opportunities for reflection, learning and connection.

Attendance is optional.

Members remain responsible for deciding what they choose to share.


6. Membership and Cancellation

Membership is charged monthly and may be cancelled at any time.

No partial refunds are available for unused portions of a membership period.

Fees may be amended with reasonable notice.


7. Intellectual Property

Any teaching materials, recordings and resources remain the intellectual property of Amelia White and may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission.


8. Right to End Membership

I reserve the right to suspend or end membership where behaviour compromises the safety, confidentiality or integrity of the community. In such circumstances, membership fees already paid are non-refundable.


9. Acceptance

By joining the Starlings Community, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
