Terms and Conditions
By purchasing and participating in Beyond the Blueprint, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Nature of the Programme
Beyond the Blueprint is a psychoeducational and reflective group programme designed to support adults in understanding and exploring the possible impact of their boarding school experiences.
The programme combines educational content, guided reflection, group discussion and community support. It is not individual psychotherapy, counselling, crisis intervention, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care.
Participation is entirely voluntary. You are responsible for deciding what and how much you choose to share and for seeking additional support if required.
2. Confidentiality
Creating a safe and trusting environment is essential.
Participants agree to:
- Keep all personal information shared within the programme confidential.
- Share only their own experiences and reflections outside of the programme.
- Not disclose identifying information or personal stories shared by other participants.
- Not take screenshots, recordings or copies of materials shared by participants.
- Not share access to the course platform, community spaces or live sessions with anyone else.
Whilst all participants agree to maintain confidentiality, confidentiality within a group setting cannot be absolutely guaranteed.
I may discuss aspects of my work with my professional supervisor in accordance with professional ethical requirements. Any such discussions will be anonymised.
Confidentiality may be broken only where I am legally or ethically required to do so, including:
- Where there is a significant risk of serious harm to yourself or another person.
- Where there are safeguarding concerns relating to a child or vulnerable adult.
- Where disclosure is required by law or by court order.
3. Working Online
The programme is delivered online via secure platforms.
Participants agree to:
- Attend sessions from a private and confidential environment wherever possible.
- Take reasonable steps to ensure their devices are secure and password protected.
- Use headphones where appropriate to protect privacy.
- Respect the privacy and confidentiality of others participating in sessions.
I will also take reasonable steps to provide a secure and confidential online environment.
4. Community Guidelines
The quality of this programme depends upon creating an environment that feels safe, respectful and supportive.
Participants agree to:
- Treat one another with kindness, respect and consideration.
- Allow differing opinions and experiences.
- Avoid giving unsolicited advice, judgement or criticism.
- Speak from their own experience rather than assuming the experiences of others.
- Take responsibility for their own emotional wellbeing and personal boundaries.
- Respect that everyone participates at different levels and there is no obligation to share.
Bullying, harassment, discriminatory behaviour or repeated breaches of confidentiality may result in removal from the programme without refund.
5. WhatsApp and Community Spaces
The community spaces are intended to support connection and reflection.
Members understand that:
- Responses from Amelia White or community facilitators cannot be guaranteed.
- The WhatsApp group is not monitored continuously.
- The community should not be used as a crisis support service.
- Posts should be respectful and mindful of the wellbeing of other members.
6. Live Calls and Recordings
The teaching session of a call may be recorded and made available to participants.
Participants are responsible for deciding what personal information they choose to share during live calls.
Participants must not record sessions independently or distribute recordings or programme materials to others.
7. Participant Wellbeing
Exploring boarding school experiences can sometimes evoke difficult emotions, memories and feelings.
By participating, you acknowledge that:
- You may experience emotional discomfort during the programme.
- You remain responsible for your own wellbeing and self-care.
- You will seek appropriate professional support if required.
- The programme is not intended to provide emergency or crisis support.
If you are experiencing significant mental health difficulties, suicidal thoughts or are in crisis, please contact your GP, local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service.
8. Payments and Refunds
Programme fees are payable either in full or via an agreed payment plan.
By enrolling, you commit to paying the full programme fee.
Payment plans are a method of payment and do not constitute a monthly subscription. Participants remain responsible for completing all instalments regardless of attendance.
Due to the digital nature of the programme and immediate access to materials, refunds are not generally available.
Exceptional circumstances will be considered at my sole discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
All programme materials, videos, worksheets, handouts and content remain the intellectual property of Amelia White.
Programme materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, taught or commercially used without written permission.
10. Professional Standards
I adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practice of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I am committed to providing a respectful, ethical and professionally boundaried service.
11. Right to Refuse or End Participation
I reserve the right to refuse entry to, postpone, suspend or end participation in the programme where I believe doing so is necessary to protect the wellbeing, safety or integrity of the group or an individual participant.
12. Acceptance
By purchasing and participating in Beyond the Blueprint, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
